Mlini is a picturesque fishing village eight kilometers south of Dubrovnik. There are two open beaches, a hidden away nude beach, a diving school, and a small harbor with a lovely boardwalk lined by cafés and fish restaurants. There are also bakeries, foodstores and a rent a boat/car/bike easily within walking distance. Guests traveling with children have their choice of three playgrounds. For example, there is the charming Waldorf playground with its bordering café, located in a nearby shade-dappled park close to the beach.
The bus station is just a five minute walk from the house and the trip to Dubrovnik takes about 15 minutes. Additionally, a transfer boat departs several times a day to Dubrovnik and Cavtat, and a tour boat leaves regularly for Elafiti islands. There are also many individual tours to various islands (Elafiti, Mljet, Korcula), the beautiful wineries of the Peljesac peninsula, the Konavle region, Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovina), or neighboring Montenegro. For our active vacationers interested in bike tours or hiking, or even a bit of food tourism, we have developed a close relationship with the Viator Travel (Dubrovnik) travel agency. And naturally we are happy to provide any additional information or tips to help make your stay more comfortable.
